We are very excited to have joined Garden to Table programme in 2019.

The Garden to Table programme is a kiwi initiative changing the way children approach and think about food. All around the country, kiwi kids are enthusiastically getting their hands dirty and learning how to grow, harvest, prepare and share fresh, seasonal food.  Now, our Matipo kids are joining in!

We need lots of volunteers to keep this programme going. If you, or someone you know (a grandparent, family member or neighbour) would like to help out with our programme get in touch with Hollie holliec@matipo.school.nz

Programmes run for 2.5 hours (in the morning) or 1.5 hours (in the afternoon) at a time and you will be working with small groups of children in the garden or kitchen.
